Watkins Awnings now offers a custom storm window that can be installed on the interior or exterior of your home or building. Storm windows are made to reduce energy costs. This energy-saving solution fits over the inside of your window so it won't detract from the exterior appeal of your home or commercial building. Our storm windows can also be fit to the exterior of your window if preferred.
Our storm windows are made with non-yellowing 1/8" clear acrylic. This high-grade acrylic is half the weight of glass, shatter resistant, and optically clear as glass. We cut the acrylic sheet to specified measurements and then miter cut and applied a 1" PVC frame at the perimeter. The acrylic panel is flexible and lightweight, so it's easy for one person to install. The magnetic edging seals tightly over a thin, hidden steel frame, and the panel snaps easily into place inside your existing window. We also have the ability to attach storm windows with Velcro.
